From time to time, Ian & Stewart hold selected courses on garden design and planting. The courses are conducted in the Sunflower lecture room at Scotsdale Garden Centre.

The aim of the courses are to give keen gardeners ideas which they could use in planning and planting their own garden. The designers look at how you would plan your garden from both a design and planting point of view, certain styles you should be looking at and how plants need to be thought out to complement the garden you have designed.

The courses are an informal and relaxed way of looking at the basic methods and styles used in planning and planting, they have also proved popular amongst the amateur gardening community.

The lectures run for 4 weeks, lasting a hour and a half starting at 7.30pm and take place on a Wednesday.

The cost of a course starts from £55 for a 4 week course.

Our last two planting courses in 2010 and 2011 were very popular so book early if you see a course advertised!
